# Derivatives & Perpetual Funding

Aggregates real-time derivatives market metrics across Binance, Bybit, and OKX. Surfaces extreme funding rate distortions, long/short squeeze vulnerability, and aggregate open interest momentum.

### Query Parameters

**symbol** `string`

Filter to a specific asset symbol (e.g. `BTC`, `ETH`, `SOL`). If omitted, returns aggregate data for top liquid derivatives contracts.

### Metric Highlights

* **Predicted Funding Rate**: Annualized funding fee paid between longs and shorts. Extreme negative funding signals crowded short squeeze conditions.
* **Open Interest (\$ USD)**: Total active contracts committed to perpetual positions.
* **Long / Short Ratio**: Ratio of retail vs top trader positions.
* **Liquidation Heatmap**: Clustered price zones where high-leverage positions face cascade liquidations.
